Scavenger Hunt

I use my nose to find all kinds of things!  Do you want to help me find some things around the library?

August is National Inventors Month.  I want to know more about inventors.  Can you help me?

If so, pick up a form in the front of the library, fill it out, search, and then turn it into the box marked "Scavenger Hunt" in the front of the library.  Two winners will be chosen to take home a goody bag next Monday, August 8, 2011.

1. Use a dictionary to find the definition of "inventor":

2. The call number and title of a book about inventors or just one inventor:

3. Is the above book fiction or nonfiction?

4. Name one thing that Thomas Edison invented:

5. Name one new fact you found in the library?

6. Name the author and the title of the book that you found your interesting fact.

I can't wait to learn more about inventors!

Thanks for your help!
